ΕΤΥΜΟΛΟΓΙΑ

Derived from the Greek word rheo meaning flow. Used as long as ago as Galen on the thinking that blocked of normal body 'flow' resulted in rheumatic disorders.[1][2]

Study of joint and, by extension, connective tissue and other systemic diseases that frequently involve joints.
